Eat. Love. Travel. Play.
Four words. A thousand stories.

EatLoveTravelPlay is basically my heart spilled out onto these pages. After years in the hospitality trenches and a lifetime of being professionally curious, I wanted a place to celebrate the real stuff. This isn't your average polished travel log or stiff food review site, it is a front-row seat to the best meals, wildest adventures, and most interesting humans I’ve found along the way.

I’m inviting you to come along as we ditch the tourist traps for the authentic magic found at communal tables and hidden local gems. Whether it’s a perfect bottle of wine or a story that stays with you long after the trip is over, I’m here to share the good stuff with you. Consider this your invitation to pull up a chair, grab a glass, and start exploring with me.

Flavors, Finds & Fare

From professional kitchens to chasing the best bites

Life is far too short for uninspired dinners and generic checklists. I am at my happiest centered around a table that hums with laughter, sharing a bottle that sparks a conversation, and discovering food that demands to be discussed. While a polished, white-tablecloth evening has its charms, my heart truly beats for the neighborhood gems—the family-run bistro, the hidden courtyard, or the tiny kitchen where someone has poured their whole soul into a single signature dish.

And let’s be honest: sometimes a place is famous for a reason. I won't ignore a spot just because it’s in a guidebook, but I am obsessive about whether it actually delivers on the promise. The craft, the people, and the authentic sense of place matter infinitely more to me than whatever happens to be trending on an algorithm this week.

Over the years, I have learned that the most profound experiences rarely correlate with elite titles, Michelin stars, or how many months you have to wait for a table. Real luxury is the feeling of being somewhere that matters.

I have spent a lifetime exploring the hospitality world from the inside out. From the frantic energy of professional kitchens to building my own successful catering business alongside a corporate career, I’ve seen it all. While culinary school and wine certifications deepened my technical respect for the craft, they gave me something much more valuable: a relentless curiosity about the humans behind the hustle.

That is why I will always prefer the chef who steps out to explain the origin of their heirloom tomatoes, the winemaker who treats their vineyard like a family member, or the local artisan who still radiates the same passion they had on opening day. I’m here to find the soul of the story, not just a photogenic plate.

Don’t misunderstand me, I adore a sophisticated tasting menu. I will happily secure the reservation, lean into the wine pairing, and make the meal the evening's main event. But I also know that a life-changing culinary moment can happen at a tiny street-side counter, a humble roadside stop, or a little cafe you almost walked past without a second glance.

That rich, vibrant intersection is exactly where EatLoveTravelPlay lives.

Today, I balance a digital corporate career with the creative, sensory world I have cultivated here. I write, I travel, and I work as a Fora Travel Advisor, helping curious souls design journeys that feel like their own personal narrative rather than a repetitive sequence of tourist attractions.

I’m constantly fascinated by the thread that connects a vintage wine, a specific scent, and the rush of a long-lost memory. It’s about why a single aroma can transport you across oceans, or why a bottle feels more vibrant once you know the hands that tended the vines. I love exploring how an unassuming bakery or a hidden alleyway bistro can become the main character of your story long after you’ve returned home.

At my core, I remain a devoted advocate for the enthusiast. I want to uncover what truly lived up to the hype, which flavors haunt me (in the best way), and where the passion is so palpable you can taste it. When a place or a person is doing something spectacular with genuine heart, I believe they deserve a spotlight.

EatLoveTravelPlay is my curated collection of these sensory artifacts; the dinners, the landscapes, the scents, and the people that make our world feel boundless. From my home base in Arizona to the far corners of the map, I’m searching for the magic that lived outside the typical travel guide.

The Values That Guide Us

At the center of everything we do is a belief that stories are the most valuable currency we have. Whether we are exploring a forgotten mountain trail or sitting at a table in a bustling city, we look for the threads that connect us all. It is about authenticity, curiosity, and the joy of discovery in every single moment.

& BEYOND

We don’t believe in checking boxes or following the crowd. It is about immersing yourself in the rhythm of a place, feeling the pulse of its traditions, and bringing those stories back to share. These are the experiences that define us and create a lasting connection to the world around us.

My Second Act Finding What Matters

Glass Dropper Bottle

I started this magazine as I hit the big five-zero, marking a brand new chapter in my life. It is less about chasing every shiny thing and more about choosing exactly what is worth my time. I am curating the good stuff: the epic trips, the long dinners, the real people, the local spots, the perfect bottles, and the best stories.

Think of this as a sensory playground where your glass meets your nose. We are diving into how a specific vintage or a botanical garnish can unlock a hidden memory in an instant. It is a fun look at the way cocktails and fragrance dance together to tell a story that goes straight from your palate to your heart.
